You can check out my live blog for a full recap on the goings on at the JRMCC.  Ice Wolves flat out didn't play well enough to win and they didn't.  Tough to watch after they played arguably their best game (at least 40 minutes) of the season Friday night.  Not the regression Bob Beatty wanted to see.

It especially hurts because Flin Flon and Battlefords both won on the evening with the Bombers leaping by the Wolves into third place.  That makes the next three games absolutely massive for La Ronge.  Battlefords then two with Humboldt.  If all goes well for the Ice Wolves, they have an outside shot at second place before the break.

Here are my post game interviews with Myles Hovdebo, who played a very solid game between the pipes, and Graham Smerek.
As earlier mentioned, the Ice Wolves look to rebound, Tuesday night when they welcome the Battlefords North Stars to the Mel.  The Wolves topped the Stars 4-1 the last time Battlefords made the trek to the Mel.

Have yourself a great rest of the weekend!
